Located in the heart of Duxbury at the Austin Chiropractic Center, Duxbury Sports Chiropractic and Fitness was established by Chiropractor and Certified Personal Trainer, Dr. Jay Samuel Leith.  Duxbury Sports Chiropractic utilizes state of the art techniques specializing in sports injuries and pain management Whether you athletic level is an elite, high school, collegiate, retired or a weekend warrior,  we can tailor our services to fit your needs. 

 

Here at Duxbury Sports Chiropractic, wait times are minimized to a few minutes and longer patient-doctor interaction is provided to obtain optimal results, thus minimizing the need for protracted treatment plans.  Dr. Leith recognizes that quality patient care consists of a delicate balance between manual therapy (Myofacial release, Graston Technique®, and spinal manipulation), patient education, and rehabilitative and therapeutic exercise.  This helps patients eliminate pain, return to normal activities of daily living and return to competition sooner.

About Jay Samuel Leith, D.C., C.P.T.           

 

Dr. Leith is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic specializing in the conservative management of neuromusculoskeletal conditions.  He is certified in Graston Technique and a Golf Strength Training Specialist. Dr. Leith is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine and is a member of the "Exercise is Medicine" initiative. He also is a Level I, Golf Fitness Instructor with the Titleist Performance Institute.

 

He completed a Clerkship at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in West Haven, CT and an externship at the Jordan Hospital Spine Center, participating in a multidisciplinary pain management committee, which evaluated and reviewed the treatment of highly complex medical cases. 

 

Dr. Leith has volunteered with the Duxbury High School Golf Team and treated the entire pitching staff of the University of Bridgeport Men's Baseball team. Dr. Jay brings a wealth of sport specific diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. He is an avid golfer and has completed several triathlons.

 

Dr. Leith received his doctorate from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic where he graduated magna cum laude.  He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Massachusetts Chiropractic Society.
